ILS encompasses the processes carried out throughout the “life cycle” of a product, defined as the period from its conceptual stage to its decommissioning. These processes include design, development, testing, production, inventory management, training, operation, maintenance, modernization, and decommissioning. The planning and execution of activities during these stages, as well as the administrative and technical actions related to implementing these plans, fall under the scope of ILS (Integrated Logistics Support).
At the core of CANiK’s ILS approach are problem-solving, a constructive mindset, understanding and empathizing with the end-user, and finding solutions to their issues as quickly as possible. In line with this approach, CANiK’s primary objective is to swiftly identify the need or issue based on feedback from the end-user, plan for a solution promptly, and thus minimize system downtime.
The elements of CANiK's ILS activities include the following:
- Planned, fault-driven, and predictive maintenance-repair,
- Inventory and spare parts management and supply,
- Technical data and publications (documentation),
- Integration,
- Periodic inspections,
- Testing,
- Firing,
- Workforce and personnel support,
- Training and training support,
